Submissions

We welcome approaches from authors, historians and agents with projects that align with our focus on historical military fiction and non-fiction.

At present we are particularly interested in:

  • Character-led historical novels set during major conflicts from the eighteenth century onwards.
  • Unit and regimental histories with access to original archival or family material.
  • Thematic studies that shed new light on lesser-known campaigns or theatres.

How to submit

  1. A concise covering email outlining your project and its intended readership.
  2. A short author biography, including any relevant expertise or experience.
  3. For fiction: a synopsis and the first three chapters (or equivalent). For non-fiction: a detailed proposal and sample chapter.

Please send materials to info@jelsopublications.com. We aim to respond to all serious approaches, but response times may vary.
